Concrete & Asphalt Removal
Concrete and asphalt removal involves the process of demolishing and clearing existing concrete or asphalt surfaces to make way for new construction, repairs, or renovations.
-
Safety Precautions:
-
Identify and mark any utility lines to avoid accidental damage during the removal process.
-
-
Demolition:
-
We use heavy machinery to break the concrete into manageable pieces.
-
-
Removal of Debris:
-
Load the broken concrete debris into dumpsters or trucks for disposal.
-
-
Site Cleanup:
-
Remove any remaining debris, or loose particles from the site.
-

Concrete Installation
Installing concrete involves distinct processes, as each material has unique properties and characteristics.

-
Formwork Setup:
-
We start by installing formwork to define the shape and dimensions of the concrete structure.
-
Ensure the forms are properly aligned, braced, and secured to prevent shifting during the concrete pour.
-
Ensure that the forms are properly pitched using a transit on every project.
-
-
Subbase and Base Preparation:
-
We then place and compact a well-graded granular subbase to provide a stable foundation for the concrete.
-
-
Reinforcement Placement:
-
Install any required reinforcement, such as rebar or wire mesh, to enhance the concrete's strength and durability.
-
-
Concrete Mixing and Delivery:
-
We order the concrete in accordance with project specifications, ensuring the correct proportions of cement, aggregates, water, and additives.
-
The mix is then transported to the site using mixer trucks equipped with revolving drums.
-
-
Concrete Pouring:
-
We then pour the concrete into the prepared forms, starting from one end and working towards the other.
-
-
Finishing:
-
We then screed the surface to level the concrete and remove excess material.
-
Use trowels to create a smooth and uniform surface.
-
Apply any desired finishes, such as broom, exposed aggregate, or stamped patterns.
-
-
Curing:
-
Allow the concrete to cure for 7 days to achieve optimal strength and durability.
-
-
Expansion Joints and Control Joints:
-
We then install expansion joints to accommodate temperature-related expansion and contraction.
-
Integrate control joints to control cracking and provide relief in areas where cracks may naturally occur.
-
Trucking
We specialize in concrete and asphalt tear-outs, handling heavy material efficiently and safely.

Beyond demo, we provide general material hauling, including stone, topsoil, and fill. Whether you’re clearing ground, building up, or leveling out, we've got you covered.

Excavation
Precise, efficient excavation to prepare your site the right way, clearing, grading, and shaping the ground so every project starts on solid footing.
Bury Downspouts
Burying downspouts is a common practice to redirect rainwater away from the foundation of a building and prevent issues such as soil erosion, flooding, and potential foundation damage.
-
Assessment and Planning:
-
We assess the current drainage situation to determine the best location for burying downspouts.
-
We then plan the routing of the buried downspouts to ensure proper water diversion.
-
-
Permitting and Regulations:
-
We call diggers hotline to ensure compliance with any requirements related to drainage and downspout installations.
-
Obtain any necessary permits
-
-
Materials and Tools:
-
We gather the necessary materials, including PVC or corrugated plastic pipe, fittings, elbows, connectors, and downspout adapters.
-
-
Digging Trenches:
-
We dig trenches along the planned route for the buried downspouts. We ensure trenches slightly slope away to facilitate water flow.
-
The depth of the trench depends on the local frost line and any specific requirements for burying pipes.
-
-
Connect Downspouts:
-
Cut the existing downspouts near the ground level.
-
Attach downspout adapters to the cut ends of the downspouts to connect them to the buried pipes.
-
-
Install Pipes:
-
Place the PVC or corrugated plastic pipes in the trenches, connecting them with appropriate fittings.
-
-
Backfilling:
-
We backfill the trenches with soil, compacting it in layers to prevent settling.
-
-
Surface Restoration:
-
We then restore the surface above the buried downspouts by adding topsoil or concrete, depending on the project.
-
